Children’s Songs for Peace Education

5 July 2008 No Comment

Dear Friends,

We are elated to announce that the package “Children’s Songs for Peace Education” is finally out. The title speaks for itself and the album includes:

* a CD of 20 original children’s songs in Filipino;

* a second CD containing “guided minus-one” tracks;

* a 58-part syllabus for teachers and facilitators;

* a parallel-page Tagalog and English versions of the syllabus;

* and of course the lyrics printed in child-friendly font format.

Briefly, the discourse systematically traces the roots of conflicts arising from the four arenas of species and human diversities, and proposes positive measures that people can do as communities.

I seldom promote the albums that I do. But this last one I am truly happy about and urge you to check it out. And kindly please forward this email to those whom you think might find it useful in their work.

Oh, the album cover:
